I finished the Apple Applique Quilt from the stack I showed you guys the other day... Its totally a boy quilt and I love it!
How does it look???
Thats the apple appliqued on the front...
Thats how it looks along with the beautiful backing fabric...
My FMQ is surely improving... What do you all say???
And here's the lovely pile of all of my Spread the Cheer Quilts done so far... I still have to make about 20 more... I'm expecting 10 in the post from my wonderful contributors... I have 8 out of the 20 designed... 4 tops are cut... 1 pieced and one being FMQd right now!!! Phew... thats a lot of numbers...
LOL... I just spent some of the money I won in the Casino on my trip to buy batting for the quilts and now I have 18 quilts worth batting!!! I have also bought some fabric from the FQS which is already on its way across the world to me!!!
I have decided to have a deadine of 2nd Dec for the completion of the quilts... After that I'll be packing them and tying them up to be gifted... And on the 25th I'll go there along with Aadi and a Santa Claus to give the quilts to the children...
The deadline for all the generous people who wish to donate towards the cause will be 15th Nov. Please be sure your stuff is in the mail by then so that it reaches me in time.
I'd appreciate if you guys also spread the word once again... Here's the link to my older post about the Project...
