Gardens of India giveaway

I hope you guys loved the sneak peek I gave you... Thats another pattern I'm coming up with for April... I've called it Paalavi... It means tender shoots of leaves... It symbolizes spring and so very suits the fabric that has been sent to me by my generous sponsor...

It also happens to be the name of my only niece, who lives in Singapore... The last time I saw her was when she was 2 months old and now she is 5 years old!

With a new pattern there will be another giveaway... But before that here's another one!

Remember this quilt?

No, I'm not giving away the quilt... LOL... I love it too much... I made it thinking I'll be giving it to my Mom, but then decided that it looks great in my Living Room and needs to be there! I know Mom wont mind... LOL... 

Here's what my wonderful friends have said about the pattern... 

Jodi said "I must say that I loved it so much that I just had to do it up, step by step.  Plus, I'm really a hands' on kinda person, so for me to figure out if the pattern was doable, I needed to do it up!  I used fabric from my stash.  The pattern is called "Gardens of India" written by Shruti Dandekar .  She has an Etsy site where you can purchase the pattern and it's only $5.00!  It was really simple to do and relatively quick.  It took me half an hour to do two blocks.  It's made up of eight blocks total, plus two borders.  The finished size is 48 x 78.  I will definitely make this quilt again."
