India wins the World Cup, you win the prize!!!


It was an unforgettable evening! The finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup... I was too young when we had last won it (1983 - I was just 4!) so there are no memories associated with it... Kapil Dev, a cricket legend in himself had led the Team India to win the Cup of Ultimate Glory!!!


 It was a moment of pride for the entire nation!

History repeated itself... The face of the game has changes a lot over the years... And the Young Fresh Team India did the magic again!!! MS Dhoni led the team this time to a superb victory... First, it was defeating Australia in the quarter finals... Then arch-rivals Pakistan in the semi-finals and then last evening, they beat Sri Lanka in the finals and became the champions once again!


The whole nation celebrated yesterday... Diwali came in April for all of us! There were fire-crackers bursting late through the night... People were on the streets hugging strangers, distributing sweets, playing colors, screaming their hearts out!!!
