COLOR OF THE DAY

Bella Solids Country Red The color is royal, stunning and gorgeous... Its feminine but only subtly... When used with florals is makes quilts fit for a queen... It looks great in combination with most of the colors... Country Red + Blue = Patriotic Country Red + Green = Holidays! Country Red + Yellow = Sunny Country Red + White = Classic Country Red + Back = Stunner It looks great in both traditional as well as modern quilts What a versatile color! Today's guest quilter, Karen from Where is my Seam Ripper (I love that blog name) says, "Red is a sturdy, but versatile colour. It can hold its own with prints, but can act as a blender with other solids. Country Red makes me think Americana and 4th of July. Personally, I used to say I could never wear red, but now I do and I look good in it (if I say so myself). I can't pull off red lipstick though."
