Ok read it a couple times because she doesn't say specifically. I am assuming the Janome because she got that first.
ReplyDeleteA 1967 Singer
ReplyDeleteKathi learned to quilt on a 1967 Singler until her friends persuaded her to get a new machine which was the Janome. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI believe she learned on her mother's Singer Featherweight. Her mother doesn't sew anymore so she hopes to get that machine.
ReplyDeleteShe learned to sew on a Singer featherweight which she hopes to inherit someday!

ReplyDeleteHer mom's Singer Featherweight!
ReplyDeleteAha, had to read that over and over to find the answer. She learnt to sew on her mum's Singer Featherweight, not sure what she learnt to quilt on, possibly the 1967 Singer she had that her friend convinced her wasn't good enough...
ReplyDeleteHer mom's. Singer which she hopes to inherit someday
ReplyDeleteShe learnt to sew on her mum's Singer Featherweight, I'm not sure if this is what she learnt to quilt on though? Could have been her Janome which replaced the 1967 Singer?
ReplyDeleteA Bailey 13" Home Quilter is the machine she learned to quilt on, I think. Her mom's Featherweight is the machine she learned to sew on.
ReplyDeleteShe learned to sew on her Mother's Singer featherweight, but I think she learned to quilt on the 1967
ReplyDeleteshe learned to sew on her mom's singer but to quilt, I'm not sure!
ReplyDeleteShe learned to sew on her mother's Singer Featherweight.
ReplyDeleteWhat sewing Machine did Kathi learn to quilt on?
ReplyDeleteThe question confuses me (I consider piecing as quilting too) so an answer is unclear. Kathi learned to sew on her mother's Singer Featherweight machine - don't know if she pieced quilts with it. Kathi later had a 1967 Singer - don't know if she pieced quilts or machine quilted with it. I know she replaced the 1967 Singer and machine quilted with her current Janome Memory Craft 4900 and an addon tabletop frame. Her first real quilting only machine was the Bailey Home quilter.
So, it's not clear what the answer is, and I read her post 3 times.
She learned on her Mom's Singer featherweight.
