Bella Parade 2015: Day #7


Welcome to Day #7 of Bella Parade!
Lets continue with the fun giveaway trend!!!
We are on day seven!! Lets have a new colour for the day...
For day SEVEN we have this lovely Bella Solid with an Aurifil to match!

And here are your three hints to guess the name of the colour:
1. My atomic number is 27
2. I am a hard silvery white magnetic metal
3. Fill in the blanks below to guess my name

Now lets see some solids that I would pair with this!!



Monochromes to pair it with, would be the lovely Light Blue (#63) and Aurifil  Baby Blue Eye(#4664)
Looks like I am falling in love with this  variegated baby blue!
Do remind me if it starts to appear too much :)
or if I forget to post the giveaways and get busy sewing with one...ha ha ha




Lovely complementing colours would be Peach (#78) with Aurifil Fleshy Pink(#2420)



A creative combination would be Amelia Green (#163) with Aurifil Shining Green (#5017)

I have chosen one with a vintage feel(the second one) so you can see how one can pair absolutely modern solids like the day's colour with vintage looking liberty and give it a very different look!!

    Cobalt is today's color and I'm not falling I FELL in love with the Baby Blue Eye yesterday with the Sunshine. I've GOT to get myself a color chart for Aurifil. I just started using Aurifil for my long arm machine and I love love love it. We are no where near anyplace to buy locally so I order it all on line. I can get a few of the Bellas but I usually order them too. it's just so hard choosing colors when you can't see them in person
