Day 3 of the challenge and today's prompt is Machine!
When I started quilting, I started on my grandmother's treadle sewing machine. I named her Durby - beacuse it was her name - duh!
Then came my e56. I named her Betty. I loved her. Seh was a work horse. I still have her though I dont sew on her all that much.
Then came my 310. I named her Emily after my BFF on the other side of the world! She had a machine she named Nancy so that she could "sew with Nancy" so I named mine Emily so that I could sew with her!
Then came my most prized possession - My Bernina 710. I decided that this machine was masculine. Adn I named him Ross (from F.R.I.E.N.D.S.) because he is a complete geek, is very complicated and turns on at the slightest touch!!!
What machine do you use? Does it have a name?
