I started quilting in 2009 after I took a sabbatical from my work as an architect.
When I started I was actually upcycling clothes into some cute little items.
Like these magazine or book holder - made from an old salwar and an old box
This cute pen stand made from an old dress sleeve and a recycled plastic bottle
A diary covered with an old pair of jeans.
The first quilt I made was made from a punjabi suit fabric. It is a co-ordinated set of 2 fabrics 2.5 m each. One is used to make the top and the other makes a salwar.
I quilted it very simply, with straight lines at every 1" (roughly)

Thank you for your comments... I try to reply to all of them personally, but sometimes life is just too fast to do that... But I love hearing from you...
