    I think that my favorite story was Sara's about a loaner machine smoking, nearly catching fire while she and her friend ate cheesecake. Classic! :-D

    Although I love all the information I gained from the other posts, Carrie's post about the LEGO machine really tickled my funny bone. Those little pieces of plastic have been a big part of my son's life so that had a lot to do with my loving Carrie's post the most. Thanks for the great series!

    Wow! Every post was informative & it was interesting to hear about the features everyoneliked the most because they were oftentimes so different! I have an older Bernina that I wouldn't trade for anything and no one reviewed that machine. But I've had it for years - I may have been sewing since before some of your panelists were born.
    My favorite-I'll go for the lego version - it cracked me up!

    Fun blog hop. Difficult to pick a favorite post, but I did enjoy Sara sharing insight about a loaner machine almost catching on fire. My closest to that experience was at a retreat where a table had too many things going on and one of the quilters used a rotary to cut fabric....but it ran across the power cord to the iron. Sparks went flying all over and several machines were taken out of order. Fortunately no one was hurt.

    I found all the posts interesting. Sara's story of the machine that nearly caught fire was particularly entertaining (glad it didn't end badly) and of course the post about the lego machine made me smile.

    Pick a favorite? Tough! I choose #23. Cristy's post is great. She's decorated her Juki with purple daisies. Her daughter, the quilter in training, is just amazing. And her superhero outfit is pretty cool, too. Love it!

    I truly enjoyed reading all the machine reviews, but found Carrie's Lego machine to be amazing and humorous. No tension issues there. I love getting opinions on machines and seeing what works for people. Thank you so much for hosting this - now looking forward to the pouches:)

    My favorite was #16 Teresa's 1954 Pfaff. I love the look of older machines, and the dependability without all the bells and whistles is my kind of machine :) Now I know to keep my eye out for one of these beauties if I ever get to upgrade from my Singer.     Boy, picking a favorite from all of them is hard. I found all of them interesting an full of good information about machines. I am going to pick the last one with the Lego machine because it was just too cute. Thank you ever so much for putting this together. I have learned a lot.

    I can't say I have a specific favourite, but if I had to pick I would say I liked Doris' because she is a friend. I REALLY like the variety in machines. It was nice to have some low end machines as well as some high end (to dream) machines.

    It is hard to pick a favorite since they were all great! But I liked post #15 from Heidi. I'd love to get a mid or long arm machine one day and I like to learn what to look for!

    I enjoyed many of the entries, but certainly one of my favorites was Emily's, #7. I liked the name she gave to her machine, naming it after her grandmother (very sweet) and the name her mother would have named her sister, if she had a sister. I like to think that sewing and quilting touch us with the past, and I think Emily did that when she named her sewing machine.

    I really enjoyed hearing about everyone's machines, they are all so fancy compared to mine! I think my favourite post was 'Post # 21 : Alyssa : Juki 2010Q', although it really did make me wince that she thinks she hit a bone in her finger when she was sewing! Sort of makes me glad that mine isn't really a machine I can sew super fast with! Not that I'd say no to a more fancy machine, obviously ;)

    I loved this series as I'm looking into getting a machine with a larger throat space for quilting bigger quilts. One of my favorite reviews was Post # 21 : Alyssa : Juki 2010Q. She just upgraded to a machine that I'm now looking into. The Juki sounds like a good fit for me as I already have a Janome with alot of decorative stitches, so I just need a basic stitch machine with a more space. Thanks for a chance to win! :)
