Oh no, not my friend Emily... and not in water...
I was talking about my machine Emily sinking into the table!
For two days, an old pair of carpenters have been working on my sewing table...
Here's what they finished today!!!
And so my Emily has now sunk in!
It will now be a lot easier on my back!
Do you see the amount of space I have? And just in time to quilt my new quilt... :)
I have some super ambitious plans for it!

I just got a new Bernina, and I have an old desk that I could "sink" her into, but I'm worried about what that will do to the ease of changing the bobbin. Would you tell me how that works for you? Does the cutting mat get in the way of sliding off the machine bed? It is a lovely big table and I know it will be so useful to you.
