It always makes me feel bad when such a colorful and lively even comes to an end!
But, I know it will also end with a riot of colors!!!
So up for grabs is a Half Yard Bundle with 30 colors from the New Bella Parade Collection 2013!
Before I tell you how you can win it, though you have to bear with me a little more!!!
I would first like to thank all those who made it possible.
My first thanks goes to Fat Quarter Shop for sponsoring the event! They have been with me since a long time now and have supported me in all my ventures!!!
A big thank you to all my readers who left comments and entered!!!
A big thank you to my family for bearing with me when I got up and rushed to my PC on some days even before I brushed my teeth so that I could publish the posts before 6 am! I totally ignored them while I was doing that and only after the "Color of the Day" was published did they get their cup of morning tea!!!
So now, here's how YOU can win the Half Yard Bundle of 30 delicious colors!!!
1. Leave a comment. Of course! Tell me what part did you enjoy in the Bella Parade, how often would you love to do this again.... tell me anything.
2. Share about this giveaway. Share on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog - you get the hint? Share all you can. Leave a comment for every share. You can share it once everyday on all your platforms for one entry per day.
3. If you shop at Fat Quarter Shop, leave one comment for each invoice number from the past 3 months.
4. If you have ordered Bella Solids during the parade (they're 20% off till 2nd October) leave a comment with the Invoice Number and the number of yards. You get one entry per yard!
5. Tell me why are there 30 colors in the bundle but only 29 colors in the yardage! This answer will get you a double entry!
Are you ready?
I will draw a winner after my craft fair i.e. on Tuesday 8h October 2013.

Good luck!!!
Yay!! I enjoy these parades - such a great way to get to know new fabric colors!!
ReplyDeleteI shared the link on my blog FB page!
ReplyDeleteWhy are there 30 colors in the bundle? I'd say because either they added black (or white?), or one of the colors is already oop or sold out -- so it's only in the pre-cut bundles.
ReplyDeleteI think this would be fun when they come out with new colors! I'm not sure how often that happens!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed all the Fill in the Blanks and all the Google searches!!! It was a learning process all the way. Would love to do this as often as Fat Quarter Shop and You do it!!

ReplyDeleteOne colour could be graded
ReplyDeleteI've said it before ... I LOVE the Bella Parade! I missed it last year but the year before that and this year, the part I love most is going through the few photos I have online and looking at them in a new way. Your bella parade makes me look at the colours around me in a new way. Thanks! I sure enjoy this! And while winning some fabric is nice, it's just a bonus. I'm happy to play along even if I don't win anything.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing all the new Bella colors and also enjoyed all the fabrics you showed to go with them -- some of those were new to me and I always enjoy seeing what's available. Even added some to my wish list. And of course I enjoyed the giveaways.
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun parade and really showed me which colours i immediately take to and which I have to work harder at to see how to use them. Thanks so much for organising and to the FQS for generously giving away so much fabric :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful feature, Shruti! I enjoyed this quite a lot, and hope that you do it again! I'm sure that I said this before, but often I think of solids as secondary to pattern. It's a lovely change to feature the solids, as some of those colors are beautiful by themselves.
ReplyDeleteI shopped at the FQS in August. Invoice number # 1105268
ReplyDeleteI think the FQ bundle contains two fat quarters of Tawny Olive
ReplyDeleteShruti, thank you for the parade of colours! Every morning I would check for your blog to see if I could guess the colour! I enjoyed seeing how you coordinated the couloir of the day with other solids and collections. Started my day with a smile. Will miss this. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why there are 30 vs the 29, so I am guessing there is either one colour repeated or there is a tint fabric rather than a colour.
ReplyDeleteI love the 'guessing the colour' game. Its just awesome...I managed a few, not all. next time, I will get all :)
ReplyDeleteI would like to see this more often. Which quilter doesn't like the opportunity of getting free fabric ...

I stayed up late to play & would so love to do it again! There are 30 fat quarters & only (only 29) yards because it takes 4 fat quarters to equal one yard, so 30 divided by 4 equals 7 plus remainder 2 oh now I am confused!
ReplyDeleteI liked following along and trying to guess the colors, it was great fun.

Shared & I'm so confused lol
ReplyDeleteFirst of all thank you Shruti, this was my first bella parade
ReplyDeleteand I enjoyed it a lot ,can't believe it has come to an end.
I am really gonna miss it.It was a learning experience, really appreciate your efforts and creativity :)
I had ordered fabric from Fat quarter shop on sept 6..
ReplyDeleteMy order number is 1117665.
i have enjoyed reading all your post about the colors, thanks
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed trying to decipher the puzzles you left! Thanks for a fun month :)
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why there are 30 FQ's but only 29 in yardage, but I'll make a wild guess :) My guess is that there needed to be a white/black in there. I think...sigh...I've been thinking about this for awhile now.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing all the wonderful colors they have.

I see way more then 29 colors in yardage. 24Tangent@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteBecause one of the colors is not a color
ReplyDeleteWhite is the absence of all color
ReplyDeleteI really did enjoy trying to figure out the names of the solids from the clues :)
ReplyDeleteShared on FB for today :)
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the parade!

ReplyDeleteGreat fun!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed working out the colours from the clues!
I'm guessing it's something to do with black or white in the yardage - maybe unavailable or OOP??
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed having the other solids to go with the colour of the day. It is sometimes easier to match with a print, but to discover other solids is a little harder.
ReplyDeleteI am a little sad because I just realized I missed the last few days because your blog didn't show up in my feedly account :( I will have to go back and catch up.
I think there is an extra colour because they added in white. I think the addition is white and not black because in your parade you had a charcoal that looks almost black and I think that is the colour in the top left is.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the parade and what fabrics you picked to go with the day's color!
ReplyDeletebecause black (or white) is "not a color"
ReplyDeleteshared on FB.
ReplyDeleteFor the 29 versus 30 thing, I think maybe it's something about white or the amount of fat quarters in a yard or some thing like that lol.

I enjoyed figuring out all of your clues and seeing the color combinations you came up with. Thanks for the fun.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find out why there were the differences between yardage and bundles, so I will have to guess it is because white or black was added to the bundle?
ReplyDeleteI shopped at FQS and my invoice was #1094198.
ReplyDeleteI think there are 30 fat quarters because there are two cuts of geranium. Thanks for the challenge, I love a good puzzle.
ReplyDeleteOne of the colors is white which is the lack of color. What a duh I am!
ReplyDeleteShared on Facebook.
I loved being introduced to all the new colors. Please do it again.
ReplyDeleteThe bundle only has 29 new colors so I imagine that is why there is only yardage for 29 colors.

ReplyDeleteLoved Bella Parade. Guessing the colors each day was fun, & loved the bundles you chose to pair with each color.
